1. About Coastal Social

Coastal Social is a lifestyle community designed to connect women through curated social events, local recommendations, digital communities, merchandise, and member experiences.

We aim to foster genuine friendships and welcoming environments, but we cannot guarantee personal relationships, friendships, business opportunities, or specific outcomes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old (or the minimum age required for a specific event) to participate in Coastal Social events unless otherwise stated.

By using our services, you represent that:

  • You are legally able to enter into these Terms.

  • All information you provide is accurate.

  • You will comply with all applicable laws.

3. Membership

If Coastal Social offers memberships:

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify events at any time.

5. Event Conduct

By attending an event, you agree to:

  • Follow venue rules.

  • Avoid harassment or discrimination.

  • Refrain from disruptive behavior.

  • Follow instructions from organizers.

We reserve the right to remove anyone from an event without refund if behavior threatens the experience or safety of others.

6. Assumption of Risk

Participation in Coastal Social events is voluntary.

Activities may include:

  • Walking

  • Dining

  • Boating

  • Outdoor gatherings

  • Fitness

  • Markets

  • Social events

  • Travel between locations

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

These risks include, but are not limited to:

  • Personal injury

  • Illness

  • Property damage

  • Weather-related conditions

  • Transportation incidents

  • Actions of third parties

7. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Coastal Social, its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, partners, venues, and affiliates from claims arising from participation in our events or use of our services, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

8. Alcohol

Some events may involve alcohol.

You agree to:

  • Drink responsibly.

  • Follow all applicable laws.

  • Never operate a vehicle while impaired.

Coastal Social is not responsible for alcohol consumption decisions made by attendees.

9. Merchandise

Products sold through our website are subject to availability.

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify pricing

  • Limit quantities

  • Discontinue products

  • Refuse orders

Colors shown online may vary slightly from actual products.

10. Shipping & Returns

Shipping estimates are not guaranteed.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days for unused merchandise.

  • Personalized or limited-edition products may not be eligible for return.

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

12. Community Guidelines

Whether interacting:

  • At events

  • On Instagram

  • In our newsletter

  • In community chats

  • In our private Bumble for Friends group

  • Through any Coastal Social platform

Members are expected to communicate respectfully.

We may remove participants who engage in:

  • Harassment

  • Hate speech

  • Bullying

  • Spam

  • Fraud

  • Threats

  • Inappropriate solicitation

Participation in third-party platforms, including Bumble for Friends, is also subject to those platforms' own terms and privacy policies. Coastal Social is not responsible for interactions, conduct, or outcomes occurring on third-party services.

13. Photography & Media

Coastal Social events may be photographed or recorded.

By attending an event, you grant Coastal Social permission to use photographs, video, and other media in which you appear for promotional, editorial, social media, website, and marketing purposes without additional compensation.

If you prefer not to appear in promotional content, please notify a team member before or during the event. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee exclusion from all group or incidental photography.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including:

  • Logos

  • Branding

  • Graphics

  • Photography

  • Copy

  • Event names

  • Merchandise designs

is owned by Coastal Social unless otherwise noted.

No content may be reproduced without written permission.

15. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party services including:

  • Bumble for Friends

  • Instagram

  • Event venues

  • Ticketing platforms

  • Google Maps

We are not responsible for third-party websites, products, or services.

16. Disclaimer

Our services are provided "as is."

We make no guarantees regarding:

  • Attendance

  • Personal outcomes

  • Event availability

Individual experiences will vary.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coastal Social shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Coastal Social during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coastal Social and its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, partners, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your conduct in connection with our services.
